Every third bite of the food we eat depends on animal pollination for reproduction, mainly on honey bees. But, insects, which are responsible for most of the pollination, and particularly honey bees, are declining in numbers and disappearing altogether. This is risking the security of our global food supply. Edete is developing a pioneering artificial solution for pollination, capable of supplementing pollination by bees and even replacing it completely. With Edete's end-to-end artificial pollination, growers now have a solution that can not only secure agricultural yields, but increase yields too, at competitive costs to honeybee pollinations.
