Description
FreehandUS 3D is an early-stage MedTech research venture developing algorithms that convert ordinary freehand 2D ultrasound video into a geometrically consistent 3D reconstruction of bone surfaces.
The first focus is limb imaging, including the wrist, hand, knee, and leg. The system combines ultrasound image processing, bone-boundary detection, frame-to-frame motion estimation, pose-graph correction, confidence-weighted point-cloud fusion, and surface reconstruction.
Our goal is to make 3D anatomical reconstruction more portable, low-cost, and accessible, without relying on CT-like infrastructure or expensive fixed tracking systems. We are currently looking for clinical feedback, ultrasound data access, pilot guidance, MedTech mentorship, and pre-seed/incubator support.
We focus on US duo to the many problems we have facing today with MRI or CT like the radiation and the time waiting, so I will develop real-time algorithm constructing 3D object from 2D US Video Freehand Without any external tracker using DL for learning
