Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Draftsperson / Mechanical CAD Designer to join our engineering and design teams.

This role includes preparing manufacturing drawings and technical specifications, designing electronic enclosures, managing engineering documentation, and working closely with development and manufacturing teams in a technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Design electronic enclosures, including sheet metal and machined components.
• Update and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
• Support product development activities and transfer-to-production processes.

Requirements

• Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• Proven experience preparing manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.
• Full proficiency in SolidWorks – mandatory.
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical components – an advantage.
• Design experience – significant advantage.
• Experience managing BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with Solid Edge and/or Siemens NX – an advantage.
• Experience working with PLM systems – an advantage.
• Good technical English, both written and spoken.
