The Physics and Electro-Optics Cooled group at SCD is composed of Physicists, Engineers and Students.

Role and Responsibilities
o Active support of Research and Development Activities of the different teams in Physics
o Participating in Radiometric Characterization of the Detectors at different stages of Development
o Develop and sustain Analysis and/or Simulations tools for R&D purpose (Mainly Matlab)
o Perform Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
o Present and communicate the work to peers and Managers on regular basis
o Supporting the different activities of the physics teams following needs in radiometric characterization/Measurement Setup Development/Automatization/Experiments etc.

Requirements:
Background and skillset requirements:

Undergraduate or Graduate student in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics, Biomedical Engineer or related field
o Proficiency in Matlab (Mandatory), Python (advantage)
o Good teamwork and interpersonal skillset
o Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
o Excellent Analytical skills
o Data Analysis skillset (significant advantage)
