Ample food and medicine with minimal environment footprint
The Precision Fermentation industry is valued at over $20B today, and expected to surpass $100B by the end of the decade. Precision Fermentation makes use of organisms such as yeasts and bacteria to produce proteins for medicine, food and other commodities. Some well-known commodities produced through Precision Fermentation include GLP-1RA (e.g. Ozempic, the miracle weight loss drug), Casein (human milk protein), Erythropoietin and hGH (Human Growth Hormone).
Significant part of the Precision Fermentation industry is based on fermentation of yeasts. While serving a huge market, it is still limited and inefficient due to innate features of yeasts metabolism.
Rosalind Bioculture delivers a novel, genetically-enhanced strain of yeasts, boosting the yield of Precision Fermentation facilities, and an AI-based process monitoring algorithm optimizing the fermentation protocol. We aim for a 10x production increase.
