The system incorporates imaging camera, fertilizer control injectors and sophisticated algorithms (machine learning and computer vision) that Yevul Info team has developed. It should be emphasized that imaging alone is not enough to prescribe an economical fertilization protocol, since in most cases of over fertilization, the plants are completely healthy. We believe that our invention has significant advantages over competitive solutions of optimizing fertilizers usage: (1) the ability to detect over fertilization and save fertilizers surpluses effectively (2) the savings we offer is measurable; we can calculate the exact amount of money the grower has saved compared to previous fertilization protocols. (3) our hardware and imaging devices are based on simple and cheap RGB cameras instead of expensive hyperspectral techniques.
